bicisate
bi·cis·ate (bi-sisґāt) a lipophilic amine having the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and localize in the brain; complexed with technetium 99m, it is used in imaging of the cerebrovascular system, giving a static image of regional cerebral blood flow. See table at technetium. Called also ethyl cysteinate dimer (ECD).
