cytotrophoblastic cell
a type of polygonal, mononucleate cell resembling the cells of the cytotrophoblast, having prominent nucleoli and clear, eosinophilic or cyanophilous cytoplasm; one of the two cell types that compose a choriocarcinoma. Cf. syncytiotrophoblastic c.
