anacrotic
Referring to the upstroke or ascending limb of the arterial pulse tracing; an abbreviated form for anadicrotic, twice beating on the upstroke. SYN: anadicrotic.

ana·crot·ic (an″ə-krotґik) 1. pertaining to the ascending limb of a pulse tracing. 2. characterized by a notch, i.e., two waveforms in the ascending limb of the pulse tracing. Called also anadicrotic.
