hematopoietic progenitor cells

hematopoietic progenitor cells
hematopoietic stem cells pluripotent blood cell progenitors that represent a slightly later stage than blast cells. They have the capacity for replication and differentiation and give rise to precursors of various blood cell lines, including the proerythroblast and myeloblast; neither of these cell types can self-replicate, and they must differentiate into more mature daughter cells. Called also colony-forming unit–spleen.
