thiosulfate citrate–bile salts–sucrose agar
a selective medium containing peptone, yeast extract, citrate, thiosulfate, oxgall, sodium cholate, sucrose, sodium chloride, ferric citrate bromthymol blue, and thymol blue, used for the isolation of Vibrio cholerae and V. parahaemolyticus. Called also TCBS a.
