cytidine deaminase
cy·ti·dine de·am·i·nase (siґtĭ-dēn de-amґĭ-nās) [EC 3.5.4.5] an enzyme of the hydrolase class that catalyzes the deamination of cytidine to form uridine. The reaction, occurring in animal tissues and bacteria, is part of the pyrimidine degradation pathway.
