boxer's dementia
a syndrome more serious than chronic traumatic (boxer's) encephalopathy, the result of cumulative cerebral injuries in boxers; characterized by forgetfulness, slowness in thinking, dysarthric speech, and slow, uncertain movements, especially of the lower limbs. Called also d. pugilistica.
