verrucous dermatitis 1. chromoblastomycosis. 2. a proliferative lesion of the skin of the legs in cattle, extending downward from the fetlock joint along the pastern, usually on the hind legs, with hyperkeratosis and papillomas forming cauliflowerlike lesions. It usually occurs in crowded unsanitary conditions as a result of a bacterial infection, such as with Fusobacterium necrophorum.
