Diplopoda
Di·plop·o·da (di-plopґo-də) [diplo- + Gr. pous foot] the millipedes, a class of more or less cylindrical arthropods of the order Chilognatha, superclass Myriapoda, characterized by having two pairs of short legs on most of their body segments; they may have from 13 to almost 200 pairs of legs.
