erythromycin ethylsuccinate
[USP] a salt of erythromycin having the same actions as the base; administered orally as a systemic antibacterial and as an antiacne agent. In combination with sulfisoxazole, it is used in the treatment of otitis media caused by Haemophilus influenzae.
