fludeoxyglucose F 18
flu·de·oxy·glu·cose F 18 (floo″de-ok″se-glooґkōs) [USP] 2-deoxy-D-glucose labeled with 18F; used in positron emission tomography in the diagnosis of brain disorders, cardiac disease, and tumors of various organs. Called also fluorodeoxyglucose.
