collagenous gastritis

collagenous gastritis
a rare type of gastritis characterized by subepithelial fibrosis in the stomach. Children have pain and other symptoms of gastritis; in adults it may be related to collagenous sprue or celiac disease, and symptoms include anemia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and sometimes blood in the feces.
