HACEK group

HACEK group
Haemophilus aphrophilus, Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, Cardiobacterium hominis, Eikenella corrodens, and various species of Kingella, species of gram-negative, capnophilic bacilli that are particularly likely to infect heart valves or cause endocarditis.
