hyperfractionation
hy·per·frac·tion·a·tion (hi″pər-frak″shən-aґshən) the subdivision of a radiotherapy schedule with reduction of dose per exposure but no decrease in overall treatment span; done to decrease side effects while delivering an equivalent or greater total dose. Called also hyperfractionated radiotherapy.
