im·plan·to·don·tics (im-plan″to-donґtiks) the branch of dentistry dealing with the implantation of artificial devices and materials into the oral hard and soft tissues for prosthetic, therapeutic, or diagnostic purposes. Called also dental or oral implantology and implantodontology.
