refractive keratoplasty
keratoplasty in which a section of cornea is removed from the patient or a donor, shaped to the desired curvature, and inserted either between layers (keratophakia) or on the cornea (keratomileusis), changing its curvature and correcting optical errors. Called also keratorefractive or lamellar refractive surgery
