Lucio leprosy

Lucio leprosy
a type of lepromatous leprosy seen especially in Mexico and Central America, characterized by diffuse infiltration of the skin. Advanced cases may be complicated by the Lucio phenomenon (q.v.) with necrosis and ulcers of the skin and scarring. Called also diffuse lepromatous l.
