ligamentum cricothyroideum medianum
[TA] median cricothyroid ligament: the median or anterior part of the inferior, larger part of the fibroelastic laryngeal membrane, occurring as a flat band of white tissue continuous medially with the conus elasticus and cranially with the plica vocalis and ligamentum vocale, and connecting the cricoid and thyroid cartilages; called also anterior cricothyroid ligament. See also cricothyroid ligament, under ligament.
