follicular lymphoma

follicular lymphoma
any of several types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in which the lymphomatous cells are clustered into identifiable nodules or follicles. The cells may be either small cleaved or large (cleaved or uncleaved) cells; tumors in which most or all of the cells are small and cleaved have a better prognosis than those with large cells. Called also Brill-Symmers disease, giant follicle l., and nodular l.
