electrophoretic mobility

electrophoretic mobility
1. the rate of migration (usually in cm/s) per unit electric field strength (usually V/cm) of a charged particle in electrophoresis. Symbol μ. 2. any measure of the rate of migration of an ionic species in electrophoresis, e.g., β electrophoretic mobility, designating the electrophoretic mobility of a beta globulin.
