hypersensitivity myocarditis
myocarditis due to allergic reactions caused by hypersensitivity to various agents, particularly sulfonamides, penicillins, and methyldopa. It is characterized by interstitial infiltration, principally perivascular, by lymphocytes, plasma cells, macrophages, and eosinophils.
