[TA] humeral axillary lymph nodes: a group of four to six axillary lymph nodes lying posteromedial to the axillary vein and receiving most of the lymphatic drainage from the upper limb. Called also nodi lymphoidei axillares laterales [TA alternative] and lateral axillary lymph nodes.
