nucleus emboliformis
[TA] emboliform nucleus: a small cerebellar nucleus that lies between the dentate nucleus and globose nucleus and contributes to the superior cerebellar peduncles. It is the term preferred in official terminology when considering humans, and is frequently also used to describe nonhuman primates. Cf. n. interpositus inferior.
