phlebo·rhe·og·ra·phy (fleb″o-re-ogґrə-fe) [phlebo- + rheography] a technique for measuring venous volume changes in response to respiration and to compression of the foot or calf, employing a plethysmograph having cuffs applied to the abdomen, thigh, upper, mid, and lower calf, and foot; used in the diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis.
