plakoglobin
plako·glo·bin (plakґo-glo″bin) a protein related to the catenins that participates in the linking of cadherins to cytoskeletal filaments in adherens junctions and desmosomes by binding to both the cytoplasmic domain of a cadherin and a cytoskeletal linking protein (catenin or desmoplakin).
