Platysporina

Platysporina
Platy·spo·ri·na (plat″ĭ-spə-riґnə) [platy- + spore] a suborder of parasitic protozoa (order Bivalvulida, class Myxosporea), usually having bilaterally symmetrical spores with two polar capsules at one pole of the spore in a sutural plane. A representative genus is Myxosoma.
