microscopic polyangiitis

microscopic polyangiitis
a type of small vessel vasculitis, usually in the kidneys but sometimes also in the lungs, skin, and nervous system; characteristics are similar to those of polyarteritis nodosa with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and presence of antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibodies.
