dismembered pyeloplasty
a pyeloplasty procedure for redundancy of the renal pelvis, consisting of excision of the ureteropelvic junction and part of the pelvis and reattachment of the spatulated end of the ureter to the remaining pelvis. Called also Anderson-Hynes p.

Dismembered pyeloplasty used for reduction of redundant renal pelvis. (A), Excision of redundant portion between traction sutures; (B), closure of cephalad aspect of pelvis down to the dependent portion; (C), anastomosis of dependent aspect of pelvis to proximal ureter.
