simple schizophrenia

simple schizophrenia
a type of schizophrenia characterized by gradual, insidious loss of drive, social withdrawal, and emotional apathy, but without prominent psychotic features. It is often considered to be a form of personality disorder; see schizotypal personality disorder, under disorder.
