Schizopyrenida
Schizo·py·ren·i·da (skiz″o-pĭ-renґĭ-də) [schizo- + Gr. pyrēn fruit stone] an order of ameboid protozoa of the class Lobosa, phylum Sarcomastigophora; they are typically cylindrical, and monopodial. Some species have temporary flagellate stages during their life cycle. Representative genera include Naegleria and Vahlkampfia.
