sodium 22
a radioactive isotope of sodium, atomic mass 22, having a half-life of 2.60 years and decaying by positron emission (0.545, 1.83 MeV) with electron capture and emission of gamma rays (1.275 MeV). It has been used in the determination of body sodium space and total exchangeable sodium.
