lacunar stroke
a lacunar infarct that causes symptoms; among the most common manifestations are pure motor hemiparesis, ataxic hemiparesis, pure sensory stroke, sensorimotor stroke, and clumsy-hand dysarthria. Called also lacunar syndrome.
