sulcus posterolateralis medullae oblongatae
[TA] posterolateral sulcus of medulla oblongata: an upward extension of the posterolateral sulcus of the spinal cord; it gives attachment to the fibers of the glossopharyngeal and vagus nerves. Called also posterolateral groove of medulla oblongata and dorsolateral s. of medulla oblongata.
