syntrophin
syn·tro·phin (sinґtrə-fin) any of a heterogeneous group comprising five different phosphorylated proteins; one α (α-1, acidic), two β (β-1 and β-2, basic), and two γ (γ-1 and γ-2) components. The proteins bind to and are believed to organize the subcellular localization of a variety of membrane proteins; in muscle they mediate the interaction of signaling proteins with the dystrophin and utrophin complexes at the neuromuscular junction.
