truncus inferior plexus brachialis
[TA] inferior trunk of brachial plexus: the trunk of the brachial plexus that is formed by the anterior branches of the eighth cervical and first thoracic nerves; medial pectoral nerves may arise from it. Its anterior division becomes the medial cord of the plexus, and its posterior division helps form the posterior cord; modality, general sensory and motor. Called also lower trunk of brachial plexus.
