Mengo virus

Mengo virus
a strain of encephalomyocarditis virus that was first isolated in Uganda from a monkey with encephalomyelitis, and later from mosquitoes and a mongoose in the same area; it was later found to be the cause of an epizootic disease of pigs in Panama.
