neb·ra·my·cin (neb″rə-miґsin) an aminoglycoside antibacterial complex produced by Streptomyces tenebrarius, consisting of eight components; factor 6 (tobramycin) is used clinically as an antibiotic and factor 2 (apramycin) is used as an antibiotic in veterinary medicine.
