Blaud's pill 'blȯdz-, 'blō(d)z- n a pill consisting essentially of ferrous carbonate used in the treatment of anemia
Blaud blō Pierre (1774-1858)
French physician. In 1832 Blaud published an article on chlorosis in which he introduced the pill that now bears his name.
