Aura
A premonition. There is often an aura before a migraine or a grand mal seizure. The aura, a symptom of brain malfunction, may consist of flashing lights, a gleam of light, blurred vision, an odor, the feeling of a breeze, numbness, weakness, or difficulty speaking.

the forewarning of an epileptic or migrainous attack. An epileptic aura may take many forms, such as an odd smell or taste. The migrainous aura may affect the patient's eyesight with brilliant flickering lights or blurring of vision, but it may also result in pins and needles or weakness of the limbs.
