Mules operation 'myülz- n removal of excess loose skin from either side of the crutch of a sheep to reduce the incidence of blowfly strike
Mules J. H. W. Australian sheep grazier. Mules, a grazier at Woodside, South Australia, first proposed the Mules operation in 1931. Since that time the operation has become a standard procedure especially in Australia and New Zealand.
