utero·sa·cral ligament .yüt-ə-rō-.sak-rəl-, -.sāk- n a fibrous fascial band on each side of the uterus that passes along the lateral wall of the pelvis from the uterine cervix to the sacrum and that serves to support the uterus and hold it in place called also sacrouterine ligament
