dantrolene
n.
a muscle relaxant drug used to relieve muscle spasm in such conditions as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, or spinal cord injury. It is administered by mouth or by injection. Possible side-effects include weakness, dizziness, drowsiness, and vertigo; liver damage sometimes occurs. Trade name: Dantrium.
