adenylosuccinic acid
A condensation product of aspartic acid and inosine 5′-monophosphate; an intermediate in the biosynthesis of adenylic acid. Formally, it is adenylic acid with succinic acid replacing an H of the NH2 group, forming a C—N. SYN: adenylylosuccinic acid, N-succinyladenylic acid.
