nonessential amino acids
the eleven α-amino acids required for protein synthesis that are synthesized by humans and are not specifically required in the diet: alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, proline, serine, and tyrosine.
