ap·ra·clon·i·dine hy·dro·chlo·ride (ap″rə-klonґĭ-dēn) [USP] an α2-adrenergic receptor agonist used to reduce intraocular pressure in the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and the treatment and prevention of ocular hypertension; administered topically.
