ben·zyl·pen·i·cil·lo·yl poly·ly·sine (ben″zəl-pen″ĭ-silґo-əl) a skin test antigen composed of a benzylpenicilloyl moiety (a major antigenic determinant of benzylpenicillin) conjugated to poly-L-lysine as a carrier, used in assessing hypersensitivity to penicillin by scratch test or intradermal test.
