Wenckebach block

Wenckebach block
a type of second degree atrioventricular block in which one or more dropped beats occur periodically after a series of steadily increasing P–R intervals (cf. Mobitz type II b.); it is usually due to a block within the atrioventricular node. Called also Mobitz type I b.
