bulbus cornus posterioris ventriculi lateralis [TA] bulb of occipital horn of lateral ventricle: an eminence in the upper part of the medial wall of the occipital horn of the lateral ventricle, above the calcar avis, produced by the splenial fibers of the forceps frontalis as they pass posteriorly into the occipital lobe; called also bulb of posterior horn of lateral ventricle.
