Co·ry·ne·bac·te·ri·neae (ko-ri″ne-bak-tər-inґe-e) a suborder of bacteria of the order Actinomycetales; medically important organisms are contained in the families Corynebacteriaceae, Gordoniaceae, Mycobacteriaceae, and Nocardiaceae.
