corn meal agar
an agar medium containing corn meal infusion, used to stimulate sporulation in the identification of fungi. With the addition of Tween 80 it stimulates the production of chlamydospores by species of Candida. It may also be supplemented with glucose, sucrose, and yeast extract for the general culture of fungi.
